Ueehara listening to this album i had very little interest in jazz. Hiromi was declared to be a fan of Screaming Headless Torsos. All you really need to know is that it was with this track that I started really feeling the groove of the band for the first time. With vocal melody, piano accompaniment, lyrics, chord names and guitar chord diagrams. And, the conversation of responding keyboard and guitar will have width as a new possibility as the band.

There’s less of a funk muse here, but each track still bears Hiromi’s hallmarks: There’s nothing as wacky here as the funked-out martial-arts-on-piano that was “Kung-Fu World Champion,” but there’s still plenty of intense, humorous and emotional material shouting out loud and clear who Hiromi is.
What could have come from that initial rush of musical bliss?
It’s pretty cool, that’s for sure. It settles to a jazzy mode before 2 minutes.
If the inquiring mind of Hiromi is considered of course, the flow that aims at the top further might have been able to be selected, too. Nasty keyboard sounds after 4 minutes as it becomes intense.
The addition of Fuze has clearly pushed Hiromi’s fusion numbers in the direction of jazz-rock.

Newcomers to Jazz and Fusion music may find this a little startling at first, but Metal fans should already be used to the concept, at least a little. Uehwra music here is quite access It’s art in its purest, most honest form.

Time and Space 7: Hiromi Uehara’s new album won’t be released as a regular Hiromi disc, but rather under the Hiromi’s Sonicbloom moniker. Time and Space 7: She’s as likely to change from acoustic grand to distorted virtual Wurlitzer mid-number as she is to hirimi from classically imbued motifs to smoke-filled dancehall tinklings.
Keep Calm and Uehaar On. This is Hiromi’s fourth studio album, and it’s being played as an ensemble titled ”Hiromi’s Sonicbloom”. Soon enough, though, Valihora chimes in with some killer drum work, and the song really begins to take off. She is recognized by her incredibly virtuosic technique, high energetic performances and the blending in her compositions of musical genres such as new bop, progressive rock, classical and fusion.
I cannot describe how it moves me, only that it does, very much. But the compositions are very proggy, and quite progressive ; so dont think it’s straight ahead jazz with moogs and rhoades piano.
The flow that the sound of the band twines round the flow with the anacatesthesia in union will call impression.
